EYE OF THE NEEDLE

JOHN MCINTOSH

Our beautiful brother Jesus said: “… it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.” In those days ‘needle’ meant the small entrance to a gated city. This simply means that the ‘attachment’ to the dream is a ‘focus’ that keeps one trapped ‘in’ it. It has nothing to do with ‘money or wealth’ in and of itself.

Living Free IN the dream requires [in part] that nothing in it ‘clings’. Whatever the SELF has need of [so-called] … a lot or a little, to extend the Love IT ‘is’ into the dream, is ITs servant and NOT ITs master. The opposite is the experience of the false self.
