The mind is stubborn and fixates on what has become habitual based on the conditioning [attachments, expectations and identifications tied to memory (past) and imagination (future)] one came in with. Every habit is a prison bar, a cloud that seems to hide the sun [ONE SELF] YOU Are. In order for each habit to be removed [dissolved conditioning] it must be seen to have no value and can often be a highly visible detriment to one’s experience.

With few exceptions a ‘breakdown’ relative to the conditioning-habit must occur before a ‘breakthrough’ [surrender] occurs. ‘This’ is the blessing of suffering when the mind ‘gives up’ its control, allowing the Light of the SELF [Truth] to shine away that layer [habit] of conditioning.

Eventually Self Inquiry/Surrender replaces suffering as the ‘direct route’ to Freedom.
