HE FOUGHT FOR YOU

JOHN MCINTOSH

He fought for you

And fights still

Flawed as he is

Love guides his war

It is not a war that is obvious

Not kinetic as most are

But mainly subtle, hidden and clandestine

A war of words that twist and lie

He fought for you

He saw what was hidden

And sought to expose the lies

The travesties, the ancient tyranny

He fought for you

And took the endless slings and arrows

Not just from the perpetrators of hatred

But from you, who doubted … and still doubt

He fought for you

And continues to fight

Rooting out the darkness

Hidden deep in hidden places

Of the land and the mind

He fought for you

And gradually the hypnotic prison

That you have called ‘normal’

Is crumbling in the Light of Love and Patience

He fought for you

And soon the playing fields of the Grand Dream

Will be leveled and blinded eyes will know

There was only ever ONE who fought

For IT SELF.
