The false self ‘seeks but never finds” [paraphrasing ACIM]. The universe-world-body-mind-identity has endless passages, corridors, pathways and wonders to explore. It is filled with a plethora of unknown weird and fascinating mysteries with no end to the suspected clandestine activities of on planet and off planet questionable entities with possible benign or devious intentions. There is no lack of belief systems, concepts and imaginings to explain the mystery of life. All these things are ‘out there’ and attract, seduce and bind the attention of most of humanity who inevitably experiences precisely what it expects to experience, none of it real … such is the power of ‘intention’ within the grand dream to manifest.
None of this ‘leads to’ or ‘is of’ Truth because it is the exploration of an illusion … a house of endless mirrors casting the shadows of its own thought-forms holographically throughout the grand dream. Until the child puts away the toys of the make-believe universe and exchanges them for the pathless-path of the inward focus, it will repeat these enticing adventures again and again on its blind journey … falling into every ditch.
Truth lies only within.
