When you celebrate anniversaries and awards, read books, look at photos, listen to testimonials or memorials, and any other seemingly ‘normal’ activity, the ‘past is highlighted’. Of course, experience these moments … but from ‘far up’ in the balcony of ‘witnessing’, immune from ‘ALL’ attachments. The past is a dream within the Grand Dream, a deeper dungeon lived within silken bars that are flooded with tears. If one succumbs to the seductive allure of past glories or the anguish of old agonies, it is ‘certain’ they will be repeated in what the false self calls the future. In Truth - neither exists … they are of the mind’s ‘slight-of-hand’ illusions only.
There ‘is’ only the Now … not the ‘clock’ moment as many believe, but the Presence YOU Are, the Infinite ONE in whose theater of dreams YOU play out these fantastic fantasies. When YOU live ‘as’ the Presence You Are the Grand Dream cannot molest you and loses its icy grip upon the Heart of unbroken Joy that is your natural state.
