JOHN MCINTOSH
There is a flame that never dies
A raging fire
Then the bare essence of a spark
Yet Life is there
The twisted eye of ego
Cannot extinguish this flame
No matter how skewed its view
The fire will never go out
It is the rising Sun of Love
That ascends only to fade
Into twilight’s shadows
Still, there is life in it
Sometimes a mere flicker
Laden with conditions and bargains
Masked in false identities
Hidden behind a history of beliefs
But still constant
An eternal beating heart
Softening the rigidity of minds
Lost in fear
Waiting, embracing, enfolding
The one lost in dreams
To one day be kissed
By the eternal flame of Love
And remember Who It Really Is.
