When a musician masters an instrument, attention becomes focused completely on the music since the ‘mechanical playing’ of the instrument has become ‘autonomic’. If the musician also surrenders the mind [false self] ‘to’ the music, the music then ‘plays’ the musician and the body-mind-identity becomes the ‘servant of it. This is a moment of ONE-ness. It is the Perfect expression of the SELF ‘consciously’ animating the dream. A listener may have the same experience.
Nature has the same faculty when the body-mind-identity is ‘absorbed ‘by’ it. In these moments the false self momentarily dissolves into the ONE Consciousness [SELF] that Nature naturally embodies and expresses. Were it not for the continued influence of conditioning this return HOME would be permanent.
