NO NEED FOR KNOWLEDGE

JOHN MCINTOSH

It is the mind that is always asking ‘Who, What, Where, When, Why and How’. These are defining and confining walls that help the false self to feel safe. This identity impostor lives in constant fear, much of it subtle and well below conscious awareness. The overt fear displayed through the emotions for all to see is only a tiny fraction of the grinding angst beneath the bravado of the false self’s many masks.

The SELF has no need to know or accumulate historical knowledge. These ever-shifting agreements of how things are or should be have ‘never’ brought what the Heart yearns for and yet to release all these flimsy props in favor of a totally spontaneous Life is to most – terrifying. Living without any visible or memorized support system seems like death … and, indeed that is precisely what it is. To live totally spontaneously, empty and in the moment in ‘all’ experiences requires the death of the made-up identity called ‘you’ … nothing less will reveal your one and only True identity as the SELF.
