Self Inquiry/Surrender is the ‘direct route’ HOME to Freedom to the ONE SELF YOU Really Are. It is incredibly simple, so much so that the elaborate gymnastics of many spiritual practices most spiritual seekers have employed, usually makes this practice ‘seem’ irrelevant.
It works like this:
When you are ‘triggered’ by some ‘conditioning’ [attachments, expectations and identifications tied to memory (past) and imagination (future)], mirrored in your own unique world-dream … you say:
-“Who is it that is affected by this _______________?”
The answer is always [and never more than]:
-“Me.”
And this is followed with:
-“Who am I?”
A response is not being looked for with this last question. The question allows the SELF to shine light on the false self [insofar as this ‘layer’ of conditioning is concerned] causing it to withdraw [in that regard] back into nothing-ness. The conditioning is like clouds that hide the ONE SELF You Are and have always been.
With constant use this is a ‘lightning fast’ [in clock time] practice that returns the FULL Awareness ‘of’ the SELF ‘to’ IT SELF.
