JOHN MCINTOSH
The false self proclaims, “I’m going to squeeze every ounce of living out of my life while I’m here.” While savoring the Life experience is at the heart of why we ‘as’ the ONE God We Are, manifested the universe … the false self’s passionate declaration cloaks the fear beneath what it calls living. A well-known adage states, “I’ll get there fast and then take it slow.” There is desperation associated with this that exposes the fixation on ‘not missing out’ on what can be gotten before its too late. This writhing snake of fear within the false self’s conditioning will engage in all manner of compromising behavior in order to feel ‘alive’ within its non-existent reality.
As a result, it seeks higher highs and always receives the equivalent lows in the process. It’s a frantic struggle with the gnawing feeling of impending death that constantly stalks its hollow subsistence filled with guilt, shame, remorse and the inevitable unworthiness that accompanies these primary roots to its conditioning.
When you allow ‘Life to Live You’, none of this is present and you find that savoring each experience is an effortless, consistent ‘flat-line’ of Joy, even in the midst of the cacophony of the grand dream.
