Consciousness [the ONE SELF You Are] is like a screen, ‘on which’ the entire holographic illusory projection [dream] of the universe occurs.
This may be compared to the current day ‘green screen’ technology used in the making of movies using CGI [computer generated imagery]. When an actor plays out their script they are often dressed in computer-friendly material that allows technicians to later ‘add’ totally different costumes appropriate to the story-line. This is similar to the body-mind-identity-disguise [the false self] being used to play out the narrative of your life experience based on the ‘conditioning’ [attachments, expectations and identifications tied to memory (past) and imagination (future) … or karma] you came in with.
A monster in the story-line, that attacks the character may be nothing more than a tennis ball on a stick the actor jousts with against a ‘green screen’ that the technician later turns into a dragon. The actor must ‘imagine’ and ‘believe’ that the dragon is actually there in order for the scene being enacted to ‘seem’ real in the movie narrative. This is ‘exactly’ what the mind does with every scenario that plays out in your life experience … none of which is ‘real’ … but has become a ‘false reality’ due to the belief in separation. It is your focus on Freedom [by any name] that leads to the desolation of this delusion and revelation of what ‘is’ Real.
