Imagine you are an actor and you are handed a script where every character in the movie is played by you. Every word, every action and every thought in the movie emanates from you. Indeed, even the director is you. As part of that direction, you instruct yourself to ‘forget’ that you are playing virtually every part. In this movie, that comes easily as you rehearse each part and it begins to seem obvious that everyone … so-called ‘else’, is someone ‘else’.
This means that you are the protagonist as well as the antagonist and from this - judging evolves, which seen from this perspective is ‘self’ judgment.
This particular script is long, or so it seems … and every conceivable ‘plot-story’ is contained within its pages. You get to ‘play’ the entire history of the world in this movie. Even though the characters in this movie are born and die … still you are playing what appears to be ‘other’ players. But as Ramana said: “There ‘are’ no others”.
As another ‘other’ [so-called], you are an observer in the audience at the theater watching the entire movie play out and eventually boredom sets in … however, you find that the exit doors are barred to you and that you must ‘watch’ the movie … UNTIL … you request Freedom ‘from’ the movie. You must ‘want’ to be Free of it and make that choice NO MATTER WHAT. When that choice is made … the floodgates open and the ways and means to depart the theater of ‘dreams’ are presented to you at every turn … in every frame of the movie and soon, very soon in clock time … you ‘remember’ WHO You Really Are.
